The AALAS Foundation is holding its annual Silent and Live Auction at the 71st Annual AALAS National Meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina. Proceeds from this fun-filled event support the AALAS Foundation’s efforts to educate the public about the essential role of animals in research and education.

Enter the "Celebrate the Mouse Biomedical Research Video Essay" contest and share your knowledge about how mice have helped advance major medical discoveries.
Eligible contestants will have the opportunity to earn CASH AWARDS by creatively producing a video essay to show how mice in reserach have helped the lives of people and/or animals.
The Challenge: Create an original video essay explaining how you, a family member, friend, or pet have benefited from medical discoveries made possible thanks to work conducted with mice in biomedical research.
Contest begins September 1, 2019. Entries must be received by January 31, 2020.
This contest is open to all legal residents of the United States or District of Columbia who are registered students in grades 5-8 or grades 9-12. Every student is eligible: public, parochial, private/independing, home-shool. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER CONTEST.

The entry receiving the most Facebook "likes" in our Facebook photo gallery between now and October 31, 2018 at 11:00am EST will be awarded the "Fan Favorite" award!
Baltimore is known for its historic ships and Inner Harbour - which is why the AALAS Foundation has designed a sail boat theme contest to be held at the 2018 AALAS National Meeting.
We are challenging contestants to creatively paint/decorate an 8 1/2" wooden boat. A link to order the official wooden boat will be sent via email to contestants upon payment of the contest entry fee and completion of the official contest registration form.
Don't worry - you don't have to know how to sail to enter the contest! Simply show off your imagination and artistic talent by creatively painting/decorating an official contest wooden boat!
"VOTE"/DONATE is now closed. The deadline to "vote"/donate was 11am EST, October 31, 2018.
All contest winners will be announced at the Appreciation Reception at the 2018 AALAS National Meeting on Wednesday evening, October 31st in Baltimore, Maryland.
