AALAS Foundation Branch Recognition Award for: Public Outreach & Education (POE Award)

What is it?

An award to recognize Branch public outreach efforts.

Eligible Public Outreach Efforts Timeframe?

The award will be based on public outreach efforts conducted by branches or branch members during the time frame of September 1st through August 31st, on an annual basis. 

Individuals may organize and conduct their own public outreach activities and complete a submission form on behalf of their branch to help benefit their branch for consideration of the POE Award.

Award Selection Criteria?

The AALAS Foundation Branch Committee will make its decision on photos/articles indicating public outreach events/activities occurring during September 1st through August 31st and submitted by branches to the AALAS Foundation at foundation@aalas.org.

How to Submit Outreach Activities for Consideration?

Branch members should complete an official POE Submission form for each outreach event/activity conducted. The completed submission form should be emailed to the AALAS Foundation, along with photos of the event, to foundation@aalas.org. 

Award Presentation?

The Branch selected to receive the award will be recognized and presented with a $100 gift card during the AALAS Foundation Appreciation Reception at the AALAS National meeting.
